time to speak to the fire

time to write over the sea

a long poem or a letter

a final statement or a plea

time to get closer

time to approach without caution

            and without a doubt

time to listen

time to hear

time to get blind

time to listen to the rain

            to listen to the night

time to hear the wind

            to read the sun

to mix our lives

time to flow with the clouds

time to walk across the bottom of the sea

time to find out

            to explore

            to speak

            to listen

time to be just one

            again
