Time lines
On Time lines six Twitter poets showcase their work in this diverse anthology. From James Knight’s 13-tweet preface: 6. Poetry has been given a lifeline by online social networking. The private and personal has become public and universal. 7. All of the poets in this volume publish and collaborate on Twitter. Our words thrash and leap through the rapids of the timelines. 8. People don’t usually have time for poetry. But poems popping up in timelines give instant sensation, gratification. 9. The tweet is the sonnet for the 21st Century. If a sonnet embodies elegant compression, a tweet is a mind-expanding miniature. 10. The tweet is the building block of many of the poems in this book. In some cases, it’s obvious, in others less so. 11. The poets in this anthology are diverse, but we share a playful attitude to words and an interest in hallucinatory subjectivity. 12. Collaborations - Colaboraciones
5) I worked with illustrator and painter Viviana Hinojosa on the Ephemera project, at the end of which, we published a book in January 2015. The Ephemera project was a dialogue between my short stories and her wonderful illustrations.
4) I collaborated with Nicky Mortlock ´´s project for the Nine Realms. The project began on October 2014 and it was inspired by the Norse Sagas (specifically the 9 realms of norse mythology). This project involved nearly 50 artists and it culminated in an exhibition (and even a Viking boat!) in Hanse House King’s Lynn, Norfolk, UK, in September 2015, a DVD, and a book.
3) I am also a member of the Chimera Group, gathered by poet and visual artist James Knight. We share our work on the twitter account @chimeragroup0 and on his platform www.chimeragroup.wordpress.com .
2) I was invited by James Knight to collaborate on his anthology Time lines in February 2013. There, I and five twitter poets more shared some of our work.
1) I´ve been a member of the twitter @echovirus account, lead by writer Jeff Noon. I have participated ever since the account was created in March 2012. There, we write a fiction tweet echoing the previous one but without following our own tweets.
